Zo Manfredi
TEACHING EXPERIENCE OVERVIEW
I have extensive teaching experience ranging from the beginner learner as young as 3 years old, to the adult student learning for the first time, or bringing the violin or viola back into their lives. Prior teaching positions also include collegiate level instruction at Colorado State University (Fort Collins), Drake University (Iowa), Grinnell College (Iowa), and Richland College (Texas) as well as instruction within the Drake University Community School of Music, and after-school group classes at Montessori schools, and after-school non-profit organizations. I enjoy teaching students at all levels, competitive, or non-competitive. I incorporate Suzuki Method principles and repertoire into my teaching, but I also have experience with a range of traditional methods that suit students of different needs and goals. I also am gaining experience teaching and playing within the new and emerging Till Method- a method becoming internationally known for solving playing-related injuries. More information may be found here: https://www.tillproject.com/. I am always interested in serving the student first and in creating an open dialogue with students and parents on what I believe their technical and musical needs are in order to meet our goals together as student and teacher.
